Studying in Baden-Württemberg

You will receive support in deciding how to achieve the required education goal and which form of studies is best suited to your requirements by visiting a Career Information Centre (Berufsinformationszentrums = BiZ), via the portal www.studieninfo-bw.de or the study guidance offices at the institutions of higher education or at counselling interviews with your careers officer at the Agentur für Arbeit.

The orientation test at universities throughout the state of Baden-Württemberg offers students support in choosing their course of study. There is already a special online test geared towards the teaching profession for student teachers.

Note: You use these tests as proof that you have gone through the course orientation process and attach them to your application for a place of study.Check out in advance if the university to which you are applying accepts the certificate of participation in the orientation test as a certificate.

The institution offers a wide range of modern training in numerous subjects and fields or study from archaeology to dental medicine. The theory and practical sections vary depending on the course of study and therefore different qualifications are awarded for the different courses.
