Apply for a fishing licence

If you want to fish or go fishing, you must have a valid fishing licence.

The fishing licence is valid if you have paid the fishing tax for the current calendar year. This does not apply to youth fishing licences.

In addition to the fishing licence, you also need the permission of the person who holds the fishing rights for the body of water.

the municipal/city administration or the administrative community of the main place of residence

If you as the applicant do not have a main residence in the state, the municipality in whose district the fishing is to be carried out is responsible.

Enter your place of residence or the place where you wish to fish in the place selection field.

Note: In some cases, it may be that the administrative procedure is not handled by the municipality where you live, but by another municipality as part of an administrative community that is not yet included in the guide to authorities.

We are endeavouring to gradually include the administrative communities and their responsibilities in the guide to authorities.
